The Royal Sea King 120 is a pretty good moocher, only about $75 which isn't bad when looking for a good mooching reel.

Mooching reels do not have a free spool button/switch like the levelwinds.

Even the cheaper Shimano and Daiwa moochers are decent reels if you clean them and oil them.
Is all ive ever used.

Ummm....I'm pretty sure they do man. The Thophy XL QR Thyee I bought for my dad has a "switch" on the opposite side of the reel handle and drag. If you switch it the one way the reel goes into 100% freespool like a centre pin, or like if you were to hit the spool release button on your baitcaster. If you switch the QR back the other way it's back to where you preset your drag etc. Basically functions the same way a baitcaster engages/disengages.

Cool thanks a lot. I've heard that Berry's has the QR on sale each year around Father's Day for $199 down from $249. Can anyone confirm this? If it never goes lower than $249 then I'll just buy one at that price.

See top right corner of this year's Fathers Day week sale flyer.

$249 is the lowest you'll find at Berry's. That price is available right now for their Christmas specials.

Thanks Rodney :) I bought one a few weeks ago for $249 at Berry's. Seemed like a pretty solid price and good to know that's about as low as they go. Xmas present for my Dad, he's gonna love it.

Yeah, I dont think you'll find it any cheaper than that. I just got Sea Runs flyer in the mail the other day and they have it on sale for $269 until christmas.
