Yesterday I decided to chase a spring down the river from Allison pool, instead of breaking it off. Big mistake! I fell on the rocks and my rod and reel went down the river still attached to the spring. If you find it a reward is offered! It's a very precious Calcutta Shimano reel and an unbreakable LamiGlas 10'6 rod. I have had both for many years so it would be great to have them back. Please call my cell at 604 603 7137. Thanks Aki

Check the Hatchery, and 300 yards down river.

A fish dragging a rod and reel behind it will more than likely not migrate up stream very far if at all. The drag in the water would be so much it would probably exhaust the fish so much that it would kill it. Guaranteed the rod and reel are both broken from hitting rocks in the river and in a million pieces. Especially with all the whitewater downstream of the Alison pool area...

I guess you could always hope for a miracle though.
