Went to Fraser on the morning tide with a buddy. Lots of rollers, every one was into fish.  Fast and furious action for about 2 hrs.

Where abouts were you fishing?  Not asking for any specific location, just a general vicinity.  I'm curious given the almost total lack of fish caught around No. 3 Rd. over the last 5 days.  Thanks in advance.

If it wasn't crazy full of fishermen i would tell you.  Lets just say non-tidal.  I know its not much of a help but on the bright side its only going to get better. Best of luck.

Glad to see you fishing selectively I have done well with pinks, using a colorado blade fishing under a float.

The spoon guys like to cast FAR and reel FAST for pinks.....and get out fished by the spinner guys, handily.

"Non-tidal" is enough info for what I was wondering.  LOL....yea, 1 fish in 5 outings, out of 24M fish...I do hope it will get better.  I also agree with the other posts about using spinners.  In the last 2 pink runs I had a lot of success with a sizes 3/4, pink (orange also worked) Blue fox, no weight....also with a slow retrieve.

...and flies outfish everything else... .  Seriously, I can catch pinks at will with a fly rod in hand.  But when I try picking up a spinning rod to cast spoons/spinners, I can't touch a fish to save my life!!!  What's up with that???

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning jigs. It's been my first time fishing pinks with jigs and so far I've slayed them while everyone else tossing spoons/spinners aren't having any luck.

Quite true. I consider myself a very competent spoon fisherman and a mediocre fly fisherman. On the Squamish this season, with a good fly set up, it was pretty much one cast one hookup for me (all in the mouth and almost no flossing), whereas, with a spoon it was difficult to replicate that kind of consistent hook ups.

I think if there is no need for distance casting or sinking the lure, then the smaller, the lighter (meaning the more action), the slower the presentation, the more hookups. Hence flies and Dick Nite and small jigs work better than the bigger lures.

How are you fishing the jigs?  under a float?
