Penguins trade
« on: March 28, 2013, 10:19:20 PM »

Wow penguins aquire Brendan Morrow and Jarome Iginla this week without losing any players.
(Just picks) Talk about stacking a team.
Canucks continue talks with the laughs again about dumpin off lagongshow. Hopefully Gillis doesnt screw it up again.

No kidding, they're going to run out of A's.
It'll be interesting to see where everyone fits in and if this will bite them in the arse.

This is so un real.
1st game that Jarome Iginla plays with the Pens , Crosby barely 2 mins. into the game has a puck deflect off a stick ( shot from his own teammate ) & has his jaw broken.

Out for the rest of the season.
Imagine the play offs too.
Ya know how superstitious hockey players can be.
Maybe some will think Iginla is a jinx!!!

But Pen player who took the shot " may feel bad ". ( not Iginla )
Reality & fact is accidents happen.
Bet though 70% of NHL players are either mildly or big time, believe in jinxes & superstitions.

Surprised more players & fans in the building are not hit more often with the puck.
90-100 mph shots.

Talking about pucks hitting the face area....earth had electricity, airplanes, radio,tv,cars, but still the goalies in the NHL in past days played with no masks !!! Gee a mask is an easy invention.

No wonder goalies back then let in " easy shots ".
They were divided in their attention.
50% was "try to stop the puck" & the other half was ...."hope that shot is low & not at my head" :o :o
PS " Happy Easter to all "
Think Jarome is a strong believer too.

Oh ya Jarome said he did not want to go to the Bruins ( no trade clause ) but agreed to go to the Pens. Bruins management tried hard to get him.
Knowing Boston Bruin players, they will use the snub to be extra " rough & tough " when they play the Pens.
Jarome also may be hit hard in the Bruins corners.
Lots of drama in sports.
