That is a dead steelhead on the cap where there in no retention.

I think his first name is Alan not 100% on that

The guy is a member on the sharphooks forum and the pic is from a topic under "steelhead" the guy was already given a hard time on that site for improper fish handling and c&r.he said the fish was released and was not kept.did you  see this person committing the crime?from I take it this person was just excited from the catch and wanted few pics with his catch but in doing so didn't handle the fish properly.the guy had been given hell already from the other site.if was a honest mistake of just fish mishandling insteaed of punishing him why not educated him instead? We all make mistakes don't be too harsh but then again I do not know the whole story.

He killed it, he told me, I have proof of the message. Honestly can't stand the whole "it was a hatchery so I thought I could kill it" excuse. Clowns like this are ruining the fishery on not only the Vedder, but on smaller systems too. He's a nice guy and all but just can't stand this. At this point I don't care if he sees this.
