I have 2 Islander AR-MR2 reels for sale. The reels are most suitable for salmon trolling and mooching. The type of reel is great for people that don’t want to get “knuckle dusted”, but still want to palm a reel like a traditional single action reel. These reels are a great alternative to level-wind type reels. They don’t sit top heavy like typical level-wind reels that want to flop over from one side to the other when reeling. This can be a good reel for some women, children or beginners learning to fish single action reels. The reels have moderate use on them. They show slight wear. Otherwise they are in very good condition. Burnaby/Haida Gwaii location.
