crabbing in powell river
« on: August 07, 2012, 11:12:51 PM »

for those of you who know powell river..... on Willingdon Beach there is a rock bluff that goes out and a dock.  I have never been on the dock but have driven by and looked over

heading over to powell river and thought about crabbing from the dock.   does anyone know if this is allowed and if so are there crabs there..... i never have seen anyone fishing there but then again everyone has a boat in that town

i used to live in pr back 20 years ago. everybody has a boat. we as kids used to go crabbing around the beach gardens hotel marina for crabs. also caught some off the main dock by the ferry terminal to comox. mostly red rock. hope this helps.
