Total In From River Cleanup

I just received the totals from the City of Chilliwack re the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Soccities cleanup from April 14th. City, 2,610kg garbage and 190kg metal.

Fraser Valley Regional District, 1,110 kg garbage and 190 metal for a total of 4,o10kg.

An impressive amount picked up by the 156 volunteers that took part but sad so many have dumped this along the Chilliwack Vedder watershed and we did not get it all.

Thanks to those from this forum including members and guests to the forum that took part. Lets see how much we get on the July 14th cleanup.

Please mark that date on your calender and take part if you can.

Good job guys, was gonna head out myself but on the 16th of March had a wee bit of a heart attack so Ive been resting but hoping to be there in July for sure.
