I was given a 300 yard spool of Copolymer line 12 lb. test , is it any good ???? I have never heard of this kind of line .

Co-polymer refers to how the molecules that make the line is formed. Monofilament uses one type of nylon or related material. Co-polymers use 2. Google co-polymer vs monofilament for more info.
