Where to fish?

Me and a friend are going fishing tomorrow in chilliwack, problem is we have no idea where to. I'd like to fly if possible, and we're going to be targeting chum (obviously?). If there's specific nameable spots that you guys could suggest, that would be fantastic. Also, if anyone wants to join us you're welcome to.
Oh and because it seems to be forbidden to name spots in threads, feel free to send me a pm/email.

Try parking at the lots at the end of Lickman Road or Peach Road. That stretch of river (several km's at least) offers lots of spots for you to fly fish. When we were there last week, the river was no longer crowded (you'd be lucky to see a few people around, unless you fish at the popular spots, ie. directly straight out from the parking lots) and chum salmon were present.

Waders are preferred of course, especially for fly fishing if you want to access good waters. They also let you deal with releasing fish much more easily.

Well, If no one else is gonna say something, then I will. Quinn, I am assuming you were fishing the Chilliwack/Vedder River, since that was the area you were asking about in your original post. Please note that retention of chum is closed in the Chilliwack/Vedder River, and if that fish was released as it should have been, please read the article that Rodney just posted on proper catch and release. Good to see you had a good day though  :)

The fish was NOT retained, I always practice safe handling of my fish when catching and releasing. Or so I thought, it didn't occur that maybe putting it on land wasn't the best idea. I did assure the fish swam off alive and well after reviving and ect, next time I will be sure not to remove the fish from the water. I apologize, if one of the mod's we be so kind as to remove this thread I would much appreciate it.

No worries, everyone makes mistakes (even Rodney!...me, not so much...  ;D ) and as long as you learn from them, it is all anyone can do or ask for! Don't beat yourself up about it.
