At the end of the day you hope they can nail down the issues that can help the Salmon stocks. If the process can't include every possible circumstances it has a built in flaw.

Thanks for posting Chris, I have sent this out to a number of my contacts (both fishing & non-fishing.)  I still can't believe that we would choose to risk a valuable wild PUBLIC resource in what is, for the most part a relatively intact ecosystem by world standards, in favour of a small group of companies.

Link not working and one only has to look at the damage fish farms have caused in other counties to see the damage they have done. How can those that thing fish farms are OK rebuke that?

I have asked that question many times and never have got a answer. I hope you can provide one. Thanks

If you read the Cohen Commission scientific techical reports, they commissioned 3 on the effcts of fish farms on sockeye. One objectively analyzed the data available on sockeye productivity compared to fish farm data. The 2 others interpreted the findings of the first report; one concluded fish farms are harming sockeye and one said they weren't. WTF?  ???

Take into consideration , Morton does make millions of dollars through her campaign .

Tax returns show that between 2000 and 2010, Morton's non-profit (Raincoast Research Society) had total revenues of $913,796. From that she pays expenses including all the legal costs incurred fighting to get access to what is happening with the fish farms....   I don't believe there likely are "millions of dollars" left for her to "make".
