Camping and Fishing Spots on the Fraser!

Hey all just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on any decent fishing spots that you can camp at, somewere near the fraser in hope is what i would prefer. But Chilliwack works too. Any info is much appreciated.   ;D

Pick one. There are no laws against camping on the river bank that I'm aware of.

go drive up there and explore,you cant miss the vehicles on the hwys  :o .beware of leaving any valuables laying around,its a nightmare out there!!!!!

Right On! Thanks for the Map i think ill be trying Pipeline or scale next weekend... I hear its getting slow for sockeye now that the Commercial openings have started. Pinks and Springs are in the Future. I hope!  ;)

i think ill be trying ... scale next weekend

That one's a bit of a hike; I think it's about 1.5 km from the highway... Not exactly "camping friendly," IMO...

I'd do a scouting trip before you go up just to check out spots; as coho65 said, do a bit of exploring.

In Chilliwack there are plenty of campsites -- legit (e.g. Allison's pool, Earl's) and not-so-much -- to choose from that you can drive up to and that are close to the river. Again, best thing would be to do a bit of exploring; that's how all the best spots are found ;)

Yea i like the idea of exploring to find somewere new, id deff agree in saying thats how all the good spots are found. Ill prob have to hold back on heading out right away, ill check some areas out first i sappose.
Thanks for the heads up on Scale bar as well.... dont really feel like packing beer in that far!  ;)

Bring lot's of spare leader/betties if you're going to fish pipeline.... :(

HAHA yes i will remember to look out for fish stealing criminals... i read your post and found it mildly funny!  :D nvr thought i would have to stat locking up my fish. Maybe some sort of fish locking device to invest in. ???

Lol; tie 'em to your waders while in the water, keep your cooler in your tent, and sleep with bear mace or a shotgun at your side ;)
