Do it yourself spoon kits

They sell these things at A and N but I was wondering is anyone knows where to buy them in buld - like 20+ etc. I go through a lot and enjoy making my own patterns with nail polish on them. $4 for a croc or buzz bomb is too much when you lose 1-2 per day!

Also, does anyone know where I can get 16 gauge eyed steel rods for making spinners? again a and n sells 5 packs but i want to buy 100+

Berry's Bait has all the bits and pieces to make spinners, etc.
I bought some eyed steel rods there to make some Coho spinners a few years ago.

Ask if you don't see the quantities you want.

I always wondered if you could make lures from old table spoons by chopping off handles, drilling holes and perhaps with a brush of acrylic paint.

--for sure... the original T-spoon with golf T's also used to cut spoons out of metal headlight reflectors. Many of today's common lures started from these experiments.
--many commercial line trawlers used their own super secret home made spoons as found it was more efficient than bait.
