With the Ranger's win tonight, the Make Beliefs are once again 4 points back. Tough to be a Leaf fan. :D :D

Sabres and the Rangers both won this afternoon. The Make Beliefs are now 5 points back and fading fast.

And cricket noises waft over from Loaf Nation.

1 goal against, on the road, against two very good teams.

For the Duck FanBoys, sure the Ducks play all world against the Canucks a couple weeks ago and everyone is talking about the Canucks lack of grit, better not draw the Ducks in the playoffs yadda yadda.  I'll tell you who would win.  The team with a better D, advantage Canucks.  Offence?  Advantage Canucks, two or three lines that can score, and have done so 40+ more time than the Ducks.  Goaltending?  Again, tick beside the Canucks, fewest goals against the in the NHL.

Soon after the Ducks squeeked by the Canucks 4-3, the  Ducks subsequently give up 7 to the Capitals on home ice, then lose the next two in a row after that surrendering 5 to the goal challenged Wild, and then they give up 9 goals to the scoring averse Blues.  There is a reason the Ducks are in 10th place.

Hansen is playing all world.

Canucks have the best PP in the league, 3rd overall in Goals for, 1st in the league in Goals against.

Last 10 games;
Flyers are 4-5-1
Wings are 5-3-2
Nucks are 6-4

No top team aside from the Bruins are on a hot streak right now.

Sorry for the scattered post.

Sorry but the Caps are 8-2 and have won their last 5, but Canucks are still better because they're  all Swedish.

Top teams, meaning teams that have been at or near the top all year, are who I was referring to.
