New look Leafs lose in a shootout to the worst team in the league the Sens.  :D

Not exactly a group of snipers. Not a single goal. Not even in the shootout.
Against the lowly Sens, what a team they are.  ::) ::)
How about those Canucks. ;D ;D

This is the danger of having such a good record (not to mention a depleted blue line) at this time of the year.  The Canucks are playing against teams battling desperately for a playoff spot,  or in the Canadian's case, fighting to end a losing streak to preserve their own spot, while they themselves have no real sense of urgency, comfortably ahead in their Division.  I am happy to see them playing as hard as they do, night after night, at a time when they really cannot be faulted for showing up flat (thank the Flyers for giving them a reason to fight as hard as they do).  While anything can happen in the playoffs (the parity in the league is just so close these days), I do like our chances of going deep...deeper than the Leafs and Flames anyway.

That's correct.
But what's your reason to bash the local team when they are the best in the league.
Somethings a little off. But if you are originally from alberta or ontario that would explain it.

The Habs made a major gaff in starting Alex Auld. He gave up 3 soft goals. No matter the Griefs' season will end in April despite their current streak. On to more important matters, Canucks leading St. Louis 2-0 after 1st period as they rolling, rolling, rolling

the thread is called smack talk. thats my reason.2nd reason flames and casucks have been division rivals for a long time and its competitive amongst fan and players.3rd.everyone leaf bashes.even you. so i bash back. just in the name of fun.
and yes i am from ontario originally and have lived in calgary for over 5 yrs.

For the record

GO FLAMES
GO LEAFS
both have won cups.
flames have sent home the casucks a number of times in the post season and look forward to seeing it happen again!
