just wanted to know if the vedder canal section from the freeway along the golf course up to keith wilson bridge is open,also curious if it be good fishing in there. thanx

Yes, it is open. But did not see any fish last week ..

Fish have now moved to the top end of the open area. from the reports I got on my return from a fishing trip to the Island.

fished below the KWB last week and had great fun with the smolts pecking at my roe. I will be bringing an ultra light set up with me saturday.Mike if you need a couple spots that are easy to get to say a guy had a bad knee, less walking the better dont be shy to give me a call, take it easy and tight lines, Joe
