Has anyone been out for Salmon in the salt-waters of Vancouver and areas? I am no expert and would like to try this fishery? Any Advice?

Went out last week mooching for chinook south of Bowen isle but no luck :( . Talked to a few guys while gassing up at horseshoe bay and they told me that trolling the "hole in the wall" has been productive (horseshoe bay to lions bay).  We did get a healthy amount of spot prawns in our traps as a consolation prize though.  If boat isn't an option, you might want to try ambleside for coho's, good luck!

We went out like two weeks ago and bagged to springs in the lower teens.  We were fishing in the middle of the Georgia Strait.  There are fish to be had bowen Island, Hole in the Wall, etc.
