I'm looking for some advice on a rod & reel my neighbor brought over to me yesterday, the Rod is a Fenwick Feralite fly rod model ff90
length 9' weight 4 3/4 oz line size 7-8. Now the reel is a Gear Fly king size. The rod looks like it is in good shape but is 9' long enough? Now the reel does not spin true I think it has been dropped can this be fixed or is it not worth it? He is asking $150 for both, any help on this would be appreciated.

You could get a decent combo new for 150.00. I don't think it is worth it
