Terry Fox was a Hero, but not a sports hero (his Mom "Betty" will carry it though)
Karen Magnusson and Nancy Green Raine will carry it as well (being B.C. olympic medalists of the past)
It'll be a good show.

Personally I don't give a rats hairy behind who is going to light the fire as long it is a CANADIAN and an Athlete. Seeing Schwarzenegger, a FOREIGNER and drinking buddy of Gordo, run with the flame through Stanley Park just did it for me and the Olympic Circus.

Ricky Julian and Bubbles.  How cool would that be?!?! crowd would go nuts.

I'd like to see Joe Sakic involved somehow.  He's not appreciated enough compared to others.  He epitamises what ANY sport should be about.  And Olymics IS about celebrating sports isn't it?
