If he wasn't going to light the caldron he would at least been given the honour of running with the torch. Heck even is dad Walter has run with the torch.

both are good choices, but i believe that they both have already carried the torch, so i dont know if that means they arnt eligible to light the cauldron

lets see just how many photo ops gordo will show up in after the Olympics are over and the news breaks about how much these Olympics are really going to cost us,especially when you look at all the jobs that are going to be lost or down sized in the education system,i don't think its just coincidence that the Olympics are here and way over budget and at the same time every school board in the province has been underfunded and they are all short millions for the upcoming school year.we all know were his priorities are and thats making all his rich buddies even richer meanwhile the working stiffs take it up the hooey again.

Seeing Schwarzenegger, a FOREIGNER and drinking buddy of Gordo, run with the flame through Stanley Park just did it for me and the Olympic Circus.

I'd like to see Joe Sakic involved somehow. He's not appreciated enough compared to others. He epitamises what ANY sport should be about. And Olymics IS about celebrating sports isn't it?
