I like the Clarke's Nutcrackers.  They are comical birds.

I was down at the local lake shooting the usual suspects when I noticed that the grass at the edge was moving... sure enough it was a GBH slowly stalking the little fish.

Of course the joy of hanging out at an urban lake means that little kids come around screaming... scaring away my fisherman - right past me:
 

 

 

 

 
Truly a beautiful and graceful bird that just needs to work on that call that sounds like he's choking ;)

Dragonspeed, the shot of the bird of prey flying above looks to be an osprey...?
wood duck is an amazing bird.  look at all that iridescence, those would be great for fly tying...

I was thinking towards Osprey but wasn't sure due to the tail... thought it might be a young RTH.
