OK one funny thing about the high alkaline water @ Green Lake.

If you brush your teeth using peppermint toothpaste and lake water you end up with a mouthful of something that tastes like shit smells.

Don't ask how I know....... :-[

Heffley Lake Resort?
« Reply #34 on: February 23, 2011, 02:44:52 PM »

Anyone been to the cabins Hitch n Rail resort at Heffley Lake? Thinking of booking a couple cabins for a group of six but a can't find any reviews on the place. We need full amenities. Were going early July and we'll be fishing a variety of techniques, any tips? If not Heffley maybe Sheridan Lake, Watch Lake resort, Johnson Lakes R. Any knowledge on these places would be helpful as I've never been to these areas. Thanks
