WOW - Juniors
« on: January 05, 2010, 07:19:02 PM »

What an awesome game.
Has had me sitting on the edge of my bed yelling at the TV more than any game I've ever watched.
Still can't figure out why Canada's goalie didnt get pulled after those 3 goals (2 of which were brutal).

Only one thing left to say
GO CANADA GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently it takes 2 goals from 20 feet out, a horrible dump in goal and 2 mediocre goals  ::)

Allen didn't play well, but the goals glove side were pure snipe's you cant take that away from the U.S. players one of which is a future canuck.

Yep I agree 5 on 5 in overtime, especially in the gold medal game but that is international hockey for ya though.

20 mins of 4 on 4 in OT for a junior gold medal game is not a long lasting period. I am also not a big fan of the shootout in any of the games. The goaltending on both sides could have been better but everyone has their off game. And then theres eberle... guy plays his heart out every game. The states didnt deserve to win after letting canada back late in the 3rd. But oh well.
