October bear
« on: October 13, 2009, 02:06:53 PM »

Here is a boar my 10 year old daughter shot over the Thanksgiving Long weekend, Saturday we were driving down a logging road with this bear ran across an old burn catching out attention, i stopped and whinned out load to stop the bear so i could set to the tripod and load the .243. The bear stopped 100 plus yards out by a big old tree and she took the shot...the boar started to climb the tree making me think she missed, i started to run up tree to keep it treed but half way there when i crested the hill half way i noticed the bear wasnt in the tree anymore?? it was on the ground dead! a double lung shot

In the summertime when the weather is hot
You can stretch right up and touch the sky
When the weather's fine
You got women, you got women on your mind
Have a drink, have a drive
Go out and see what you can find
