another morning spent hiking the canyon, another morning getting excersise. No fish to support the hunger! I'm afraid of whats coming, maybe a total bust on the run?  :'(  The river is no longer anything like wat it was in years past

your not really in the "canyon" when the river is a 4 on the cam are you now?

unless your part mountain goat or have found a way to walk on water there is no way the "canyon" is accessable today.

thanks for the report  ;D

actually? i was just wading little side channels and stuff, water wasn't that bad at all, the fact that there were no fish for my hard work kinda sucked. But yea i was in deep to keep away from the crowds, its a gong show some days. And i am part mountain goat/sheep. Studded felts help.

last year I jumped in and helped a guy that went for a swim after he thought he could wade a sidechannel, I risked my life to help some guy ,trying to wade somewhere he should not. I strongly advise against wading anywhere on the cap.

Ever looked into one of these. Makes it a lot less dangerous for you to try and save someone.

i guess we were part goat today!

seen this bear today as well eating some garbage. very poor looking condition. stared us down for a while before starting to walk towards us. although, the highlight of the day was coming across some very fresh cougar tracks. goody goody :)
