Just about every fruit winery in BC (there are a lot of 'em now)  does Blackberry Wine but as mentioned it end up tasting much like a Port just because the fruit has such a strong flavour.

The first one I ever had was from a place in Cawston and it's still the best I've ever tasted-that guy sold out though have no idea who runs the place now or what it's called.

Yes it was St Lazlo's Winery I remember now-delicious products from that place.

Been there a long time and the guy that runs it has always believed that area could produce wine as good as any and now people are finding out he's right. 8)

Lots of berry wines and ports. All picked wild in the mountain ranges of BC.

Many years ago when I was taking advanced courses I started having stomach problems from stress . My Doctor recommended a tot of Blackberry wine before each mail and before sleep to settle the stomacher . My eating improved and the stomach ache disappeared . Worked a charm
