Another win tonight by the boys over the mighty Flyers. The rebuilding is well on the way and what a great season we will have in 2009 - 2010.

Rolling, rooling, rolling right along. ;D ;D ;D

Didn't you say the same thing last year about this season..... and the season before that .....and the season before that ...... ;D ;D ;D

kinda sounds like 'Nuk fans huh... ;D

Not really. Canuck fans are more realistic. We dont expect every year to be "THE" year. Unlike Leaf fans. As a very loyal fan I just watch and hope with little expectations. Better to have little expectation than unrealistic ones.

At the beginning of the season there was little hope for the Canucks among most fans. Many thought it would be a tough struggle to squeeze into the playoffs, especially after the dismal end to the previous season. They had lost their star player and another key one, and replaced them with mediocre fill ins. We didn't expect much and have been very pleasantly surprised.  They are currently top in their Division and playing like their ranking implies. It will be an interesting playoffs.

Lou will turn things around with his game and the Canucks will make their way back to the top of their division... Canuck's have a great chance of going all the way this year... maybe you can save this post so I can say I told you so in a couple of months Smiley

Bring on the Blackhawks!!! Lets hope Calgary wore them down a little although it looked more like a spirited warmup to me. Isn't it nice to live in a part of the country where the leafs only fall once a year.

Why is tonights game in Vancouver for? I am not a huge hockey fan but according to the final standings Chicago had 104 points and the canucks only 100 so shouldn't Chicago get home ice?

Vancouver won their division hence they get home advantage. However it seems not helping them tonight, tied at 3.
