Tampa
« on: February 27, 2009, 09:13:01 AM »

So what are your predictions for the game tonight ??? I am a little upset that they have a three day break betwen games and then make the the game tonight Pay Per View !!!  I heard on the radio yesterday that the Tampa Bay Lightning just released 4000 season's seats for sale at $232.00 for 41 games !!!  :o it costs more just to buy the pay per view games in Vancouver than it does to own seasons tickets in Tampa  ::)  anyways back to the game !!
I say 4-1 Canucks

Thx for the link, looks like a good website, however it doesn't look as though the Canuck game is listed as being shown :(

Tampa Bay has never won in Vancouver. The odds are in their favour but I don't they will win tonight.

Check again it's at the bottom. I say 3-1 nucks and Sundin with a pair as he's due to get our hopes up ;)

Poor second period for the home team...Canucks are having a tough time getting shots on net.  Considering Tampa Bay has been allowing 40 shots against per game the Canucks may have trouble getting half that tonight.  Canucks have had their chances but once again they're not capitalizing.

Canucks have had excellent third periods of late...hopefully the trend will continue and they'll come up with a victory....Columbus is right there so we have to take advantage of those GAMES IN HAND!

A fortunate win for the Canucks tonight.  The only Swede worth his salt tonight was Edler...the Sedins and Sundin looked like crap!  Larscheid said you'd need a program to find Sundin tonight.

I would have to say that when it comes to playing the puck Luongo has to be one of the worst in the league...just about gave up the tying goal to Pedinger because of his blunder behind the net.

An ugly, ugly win but we'll gladly take it.  Play like that against Columbus and they'll kick our butt.

Salo saved the game tonight. Without his skate that puck goes in at the end. Your correct about Luongo he is terrible at playing the puck. He didnt have to make many saves but some of those saves were great. He is looking better each game. Hey its another 2 points and with the standings the way they are we will take a win any which way right now. Big game on Sunday against the tough Blue Jackets and their young goaltender.

They broke up the RPM line in the third.....they definitely aren't getting it done.  Does Sundin still have the flu?
