Cascade marine in Chilliwack has some great prices right now, I'm pretty sure they are selling them at U.S. pricing.  Take a look at the Jon boats, they make for a great fishing boat, as long as you're not going into big waves.

They are not cheap, but stable, and made local in burnaby.

a few of the local fishing shops sell them, sea-run has one on display in there shop.
