They will fall to Gretzky's boys too and then will fall out of the playoff race shortly after. ;D ;D ;D
Looking like my March 12 prediction above is coming true don't you think? ;D ;D
Another reminder as after tonights loss the VC's are in trouble.

It's the same BS year after year with the nucks. I hope they do not make the playoffs, as they do not deserve to. There is a reason why they are in the same boat every year, and that is because they cannot play 3 FULL bloody periods and try their best every single night. It's the same 2 goal lead every night, then blowing it then losing the game. Tonight, they showed a total lack of disipline and carelessness. They just havent been able to get it through their heads for years and years. If they tried their best, and played 3 periods of hockey, I would support them as a team, even if they were last place in the standings. But I see the same lazy and careless mentality just about every night from the nucks. In order for them to go anywhere, some serious changes will have to be made, both mentally, and physically.

Hopefully they smarten up and win the last 2 games of the season so they dont get booted right at the end  :-\
How does a team like Ottawa go from killer at the beginning to hardley making the playoffs at the end  ??? ??? ???

Lol Emery hardley gets to play anymore, Gerber is their starter now which I think is awesome, stick with one guy and maybe they'll go somewhere.....
2 years ago Gerber was a solid playoff goalie, hopefully he can do the same this year  ;)

Sens won't go far in the playoffs. Alfredson is injured and might be out for couple of weeks.

Mike Fisher is also out and may missed several weeks. Not a good time to be having injuries.

The best thing to happen to nucks is to not make the playoffs this year. Nonis had his hands tied because of success/fluke last year and was not in a possition to make any big moves. They need an overhaulin and GM now better situated to do so, also better possible draft pick. We all knew they wouldn't get past first round anyways. Just my 2cents.

Nonis has no excuses now. There should be money to pursue free agents.

Extremely few FA's left that are worth pursuing...and thost that are will be pursued by about 25 other clubs. May have to go after restricted FA's or by way of trade.  How about the Sedins for Malkin??  Hey, sometimes I dream about getting another double digit steelie  day, too! LOL
