MAY 15TH 2008'S RAINBOW TROUT STOCKINGS

Lake name           Number of fish
Rice      1,000
Lafarge1,000
Buntzen1,000

Average weight of these fish is 330 grams.

It's weird how the gofishbc states that this batch's average size was 151.5 grams for all of these three lakes, but I know that's not right since the size of the fish I caught over the weekend were more like the 330 grams as stated by Rod.

Yes the differences have been brought to my attention a few times and I really don't have an explanation for it. Usually the gofishbc website is updated in Victoria, so hatcheries would relay their information to Victoria first before it is published. For Region 2, we are fortunate that the manager at the Abbotsford Hatchery is very proactive on getting the information to me right away. I'll try to find out more on this issue.

Due to time constraint, Rolley, Mike, Como and Sasamat will not be stocked today as they were originally planned. They will most likely be stocked just after the long weekend instead. I will update when that happens.

Any updates on this Rod?

I haven't received any emails this week so I don't think they have been done.

Do any of the near-by lakes get additional stockings ( sasamatt ,buntzen ) .or do want everybody to fish in one central location ?

I think the plan is to fatten up the Otter in Lafarge.

Lol.... a new critter for people to screw up as the lochness monster  ;D ;D ;)   Maybe he'll be big enough soon to suck up all the belly boaters on the lake  ;)
