Berkley Series One Drift rod
« on: September 23, 2007, 04:45:55 PM »

I just bought the Berkley Series one Drift rod 10'6" rod for salmon season. Feels super light comparied to the covergience and Trophy XL. I did a little research with the IM7 graphite and I guess that is what its it 55 pecent lighter than other rods. Just have to wait to try it out on the river. Does anyone have any reviews on this rod?

Bone you are really going to like your Series One  for salmon fishing. I myself own two and my wife has one that she used three years ago on the Lower Vedder to fight and land a 59 lb white spring. It may be light but it has enough backbone to fight some big fish. I have own a Series One for at least 20 years now. You are going to like the punishment your new rod can handle. ::) Good luck Griz.
