So I listen to 1040am as it has my boy J. Rome on in the morning and afterwards is the canuck lunch...(also quite a bit on before 9 that I listen on my way up the vedder in the a.m. too)....
Anyways, they are talking about the Canuck Jerseys...and how so many hate the latest look...how they much rather see the ones worn in game 7 against Dallas as next years jerseys...
My question is....ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? Who the hell likes pastel colored jerseys?  I think the jerseys they have now are one of the best in the NHL...The ONLY jersey logo that would seriously kick that ones butt is Johnny Canuck...Now that one would be the best ever..but please, a pastel blue/green??? with some sorry a$$ stick??? Who up there is smoking the crack that thinks that is legit???

The worst ever Canuck jersey has to be the yellow ones with the skates pointed down. I like the Johnny Canuck ones from the Canucks' Western Hockey League days.

I really enjoy Rome and the clones as well. Not a better radio show on the planet. He always has the best interviews and says it how it is.

Wow !! when Rome is on I turn the radio off !! cannot stand that guy ! probably mostly because all he cares about is football and baseball , never even mentions a real sport, plus he sounds like an idiot know it all bully !! you two are the first people I have heard of that don't hate him lol

nothing wrong with the orca emblem  it represents Vancouver and BC very well .......the killer whale is indigenous to the region and the C stands for the Canucks...the colours are bold.

the retro also looks good.

I have seen those pics before, they are hot.  I like the Hockey stick green and blue as well...  The Johnny Canuck Jersey is pretty good.

Keep the jerseys they wore in game 7, the retro ones, but i think it wood be even cooler if they replaced the stick and ice rink with the orca, and the green and blue colours.

other than the retro jerseys, if their going to keep the orca, then they should use the alternate jersey with the redish colour on the shoulders. thats also a wicked jersey. dont know why they dont use it anymore.

The TEAM 1040 is a great station except when Rome is on.  His manner of speech drives me insane!
My motto is....when Rome is on my fingers go roming for another station.

As jerseys go I like the retro but JC would be a good choice, too.  I gave my son the 3rd jersey awhile back when it was the flying skate (black red, orange).  Supposedly it's quite rare and he's had a number of people wanting to trade straight up for the retro.
