« on: April 09, 2007, 02:06:54 PM »

Heard from guys out fishing yesterday that the water was coming up fast and turning Chocolate milk again...checked the graph this morning...she's on the rise for sure....could this be the end of our steelhead season on the Vedder???
Time to start checking out the local lakes with the fly I guess!!! Hmmmm... ;)

Were these fellows fishing below the crossing that reported a chocolate milk color as I am interested if it was coming from the gravel mining site at the Crossing. I noticed it was near dark last night.

Thanks for the information.

Chris, I've noticed that on days when other parts of the river have been clearing, below the crossing bridge isn't...and it normally is settling by some of the spots down there!!!

Looks like it dropped a bit overnight on the graph.
Going for a look at it now, will take the rod and hope for the second steelhead of the season.
