I find all labs to be awesome I had a golden lab that was just amazing with my daughter when she was a baby. That dog would just follow her every where around the house and keep her away from anything that could hurt her. We never trained her to do that the dog just did it this is why I love labs. Great family dogs and yes the chocolate labs are definatly the cutest of the bunch. Beautiful puppy enjoy her and have lots of chew toys around. They love to chew trust me.

Very Cute,

We're in the process of meeting different Choc Lab breeders as my wife wants to get one this year.

What breeder did you get your's from? Have you been happy with the experience so far?

Thanks for the info!  I'll look into them.  Any idea if they require a non-breeding contract?  My wife is intereseted in keeping the option of breeding open and most breeders require a pet stock contract to spey/neuter your new pup!

We also just got a lab pup from White Robin - I guess we must have seen each others pups as they are only just being released!

I would agree that they seem like great breeders, a great setup, happy dogs, and a very well organised setup.

My mate in Vancouver got his chocolate lab from Bridge Creek www.bridgecreeklabs.com and we would have probably gone with them based on his very strong recomendation but they only do Chocolates and we wanted a Yellow/Golden. Although up at 100 mile house they met my mate half way for collection, and think they are quite a bit cheaper than White Robin (taking nothing away from these guys but I guess all info helps).

cheers,

Paul.

Thanks for that info Paul,  We're still doing our research with expected ordering some time this year for a pup whenever one is available in the 6 moths - 1 year range.

It's  big commitment so we want to make sure we've got all our bases covered before taking the plunge.

Cheers :)
