Something different....A walk in the snow

Well, I was still frozen from yesterday and so just bummed around home all morning...Finally decided I had to get out and hit some water....Went up to the Nooksack as I heard the season for Steelhead was closing Weds.  :'( I wanted to hit a couple spots that I haven't fished yet this year to see what was happening....Well they have snow up there... :o  I spend most of the day hiking around in the snow...man, does that suck when your felts get 3 inches thick....Nothing much fish wise, I had one brief take down...and just about lost the jensen egg...but it could have been a dollie just as easily, I was the only one out fishing though I did follow one other fishermans footsteps today...Just a couple shots of a river minus the crowds...wish I would have spent a little more time up there this year...

I was wondering if you'd come out here or not.  Figured you hadn't.  Yep, the artist formerly known as TR is right, we have to hit your country one day and fish your waters. That's some sweet looking water there.  Hell, I think I'll start in the tail out!

Too bad they say I cant cross the border anymore to fish, they really dont like criminals in the U.S....
