stealhead where are you?

i hear a lot abouth stealhead fishing im fishing since 28 year im from quebec i live in vancouver since 1and half year i catch lots of salmon lake north of quebec this fish is very hard to catch big fight  but i try everithing what everybody tell me for stealhead and nothing i know there is some there i saw just once a guy catch in front of me but i think you guy just exiting for few there is not much of that fish out there last 3 week i was off holiday i went 16 day from 7.30 am to 2 or 3 pm never get a bit what im doing wrong i went lickman vedder road upper part i try row col blade pink worm  jensen egg ....its goog to see posting but ???????????

Be persistent Chris...try lots of different types of water, especially on the vedder. Often the fish will hold in spots you don't normally expect to find them in with the added pressure this river "enjoys". Birdman is right, often steelheaders don't get their first fish for an entire season or even more. Having said that, I know of several fishermen this year alone, and some in years prior that get one in their first few trips out...
It would be beneficial if you managed to do a trip out for them with someone that has caught their fair share of steelies over the years. Watch what they do, and where they fish...should increase your learning curve.
