some of those bucks were sure dandies. it's cool to see the mature bucks and how you can see them reach that tree and it seems they stop.... and catch your scent and .... yikes i'm outta here....

Pretty cool Rod. There were some nice bucks in there and I was amazed at the number deer in that group.

So how many deers did you count in that video? ;)

There are at least two species of deer in the video (three exist in that park). We got a couple more vids of them to come later. :)

i did notice that some of those large bucks had "palmated" antlers like a caribou, unlike our canadian deer which typically are pointed antered, with the exception of some of the nontypical whitetails that have some pretty wacky antlers sometimes.

what are the three species Rodney? I'd be interested to see some close ups of some of those bucks.
geesh you're making me wish it was hunting season all over again  ;D

Still trying to remember the three species' names. We figured them out few years ago but lost the translations again, will find out a bit later. :)

Shooting these would be like flossing or using bait. ;D ;D ;D

Hunting is actually only done by park rangers and members of the Royal Family in this nature park. Hunting is quite expensive in Denmark, there are no big games, just pheasants running around on farm lands. Consider yourselves very lucky in BC if you are a hunter. :)
