VAN ISLAND TRIP

IM GONNA LEAVE THE WRITING PART TO THOMAS, BECAUSE WHAT I JUST WROTE 4 MY REPORT JUST GOT ALL EARASED SO IM JUST GONNA POST SOME PICTURES CUZ ITS LATE AND IM TIRED, BUT BOY WHAT A WICKED TRIP ! WE DIDNT GET INTO PORT ALBERNI UNTIL 3:45 TUESDAY MORNING BECAUSE OF ALL THE SNOW THAT WAS COMING DOWN !

GREAT TRIP IN ALL,PROBABLY GOING BACK UP IN 2 WEEKS!

A SPECIAL THANX TO NICK, WHO SHOWED US AROUND THE RIVER !

well..... what can i say... it was fricken cold.... the river was in absolutely in perfect shape and ... well the fish were cooperating as you can see. An incredible trip with an awesome guide, Nick from West Coast fishing charters was on top of his game and got us into enough fish to give me a perma grin for the whole trip. My prawn rig and boraxed steelhead roe were the ticket as far as gear goes.
anyhow.. i have found me a new nasty habit ;D.... definately going back in two weeks.

Awsome guys im drooling profusely now,Bonk the vedder has started to pick up this week there has been some good reports of some good sized fish being caught as well.

Great pix Gentz, and I was right pleased to hear you had such a great time with my Buddy Nick! He is Deadly eh?!

The BugMan and I hit in on the hoof the next day, and certainly she was crowded for a weekday! Managed to find a few by getting away from the masses, and wondering how you Ladz made out??

Back in a couple of weeks you say? Do give me another buzz, another, more extensive Planning Session might well be in order! And this time, give me a little advance warning, and I'll try to set up a little something special for your visit! ;)
