Wow.... i took a drive up there today to look at the changes in the river and to fish a bit.

Well it's still a double double. Fished the back side of tamahai and hooked lotsa chum!!!

anyhow, wow has the river changed !!! That cow pasture has a lot of fallen trees and a river running right thru it. Lotsa of heavy equipment around wilson road. A couple of big diggers shoreing up the dyke by those houses ! All my spots just pass the crossing look like there long gone. Looks like the squatter there is back as I saw smoke coming from there.

Mother nature at work !
