I have made quite a few purchases from them. I bought a fish finder from them early in the year. Well after my second trip out with the finder the clamp on the finder broke. I send them an e-mail and one week later a new clamp was at my door. They are VERY easy to deal with and no hassels. Products are top notch and prices cant be beat. Paypal and credit cards they take. I dont know if they accept money orders or cheques. I generally use paypal online as I find it the most secure.

Been dealing with Cabelas for years and years now-very solid and reliable organisation.

As to the reels check with http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/bassboard/rods_reels/index.html

While I own one of their house brand rods and it's a solid unit I have my doubts about using one of the cheapo reels  either in Saltwater or our silt laden rivers.

You'll have to pay any duty or taxes applicable. Whatever you do don't use UPS for delivery because they will charge an arm and a leg for brokerage fee per delivery.

Cabela's uses their own Customs Broker-a small processing fee but no actual duty because of NAFTA.
Delivery +GST/PST, they use USPS or did last I used 'em.
Give 'em a call great Folks to talk to/do business with.

Bass Pro is good as well never any probs at all.

u could ask them to sent item as a gift...

give basspro a try... seeing how they have a store in toronto... so u probably wont have to deal with those fees. and they offer pretty much the same inventory.
