Petro Canada boycott
« on: October 02, 2006, 11:59:07 PM »

Since someone refreshed my memory, here is copy of a post I did from another site that I just had to share with everybody  .

I WILL PUSH MY TRUCK OR ROW MY BOAT UNTIL I DIE BEFORE I USE ANOTHER PETRO -CAN. My Daughter had just got her drivers license when she wanted to apply for a Petro Points Card. When she received her card in the mail her name was punched into the card as xxxxxxxDUMBSLUTxxxxxxxx. She was very and truly upset about the whole ordeal. I contacted the head honchos at Petro Can and their rep. called is back a few weeks later. Her response was just as insulting so I contacted the VP and his resolve to the situation was a new points card and 5,000 petro points. 5000 petro points buys you a cup of coffee. What a joke! I was going to go to the press about this but my 16-year-old daughter did not want to be more embarrassed or upset about the situation. I tell you don’t insult a Man's beautiful Daughter. I could kill for less.
My favorite hunting grounds for deer is just this side of Clinton and when I have to stop for gas I will drive all the way to Cache Creek before I fill up in Clinton as the only station there is a Petro Can.. I would encourage all users of the FishBC to boycott Petro Canada unless it is an emergent situation.

That is amazing!.  It would piss me off to no end >:(  Even though I only visit your beautiful country a few times a year, I promise not to use Petro Canada.  Sorry for the unsolicited advice, but you might look for a way to scan this card and email it to as many news agencies as possible, including some in the states.

brutal, go to the media!

I shop petro can as they are canadian, but that's about it. I have all these petro points I can't use because I can only use it on garbage food like doritos and coke... Disgusting.

Cheers,
Nicole

Hey Nicole actually there is a better use for those Petro Point.  You can transfer them to SuperStore points and use it to buy grocery instead.

It's not a credit card. It a points collecting card. Saves you money on gas too.
