trout in washington
« on: June 27, 2006, 10:01:51 PM »

Haven't posted in awhile, been doing lots of lake fishing down here. Tried a new lake down by baker lake near concrete, it's above tyee lake and is a fly only  lake, went with indian ronny again, BIG bow's in this lake, R. did well and brought in 4 big ones...i pretty much got slammed but couldn't hook up on any of them, finally figured out my gaps were too small on my flies and switched to a humpy, got a decent 15+ incher but nothing big...Oh Well...here's Mr. anal fins fish,

here's a shot from bellingham.

I never have, the lake i fished where the big boy was taken is about a half mile up the road from tyree, it's the first time i've fished it too...Nothing during the day and i mean nothing, tried chironomids, leechs, drys wets, everything...about 7-730 all of a sudden you see um start to rise and for a half hour or so they seem to hit anything out there, multiple hatchs happening, i was in a corner where the main bug on the water was flying ants, my bud was into a sedge hatch a couple hundred yards away...
