With the price of gas these days I'll be staying close to home. Maybe I'll see you guys on the Lower Fraser.

So who's gonna try there luck at fishing this weekend?
I might head down to Army&Navy to pick some pre-tied baitknot leaders/hooks, becuase I always forget how to tie that kinda of stuff. ;D

Well I used to know how to tie them but since I can't get out that much, I just forget.
Maybe I will see about learning again. It's always good just to know how to. :)

Does anyone know which arm of the Fraser the early run of reds comes through?  I've never caught one on the Lower but was thinking of giving it a try in May.  Do they stay near the bottom like on the upper?  Last year while I was bar fishing for them on the lower I thought I saw some springs surfacing in the distance.  This left me thinking that I should be fishing higher up on the water column.   Any tips on targeting springs in the lower would be much appreciated!

Will be experementing with a few different methods for the Chinook in the lower.

Once the water begins to clear ill give it a try.
We seen a couple to the boat last year when fishing for Pinks so maybe with a little fine tuning we can catch them closer to home.

Will also be making some trips to the upper bars as there is nothing like an overnighter on the bar.

I'm in the same boat as you  :D  Overnighters on the upper are a blast but I'd like to catch some closer to home.  Does anybody have any tips for catching them on the lower?
