well went fishing yesturday what a great surprise , because of the rains hardly any guys out there, of course the only place to fish was up river. i figured all the meat fisherman are gone for the season,ya, water levels were a little high, clarity wasnt to bad about three feet ,it was cold snow levelwas pretty close.started fishing around 12.30 hooked the first and only fish about 1.00 oclock my son released it , a nice wild doe about 9lbs, it had a little tinge of red in it .man theses fish sure are pretty fish when they get that color to them . tried a couple of other spots ,but no succsess. it started to get cold about four oclock so we decided to pack it up.you really know who the die hard fisherman are on days like those.we saw maybeye,15 cars yesturday . but anyways got to go heading back to the vedder, like the the topic says its a marathon weekend

well day two , not too bad started fishing at about 1.30 totally sycked, the weather was warm a few sunny breaks water came down from yesturday about 6 inches visability was at about 4 feet so there was a good chance for us to hook some fish. started above the ranger , i got a nice whity, about 1and a half pounds then my son followed behind me and bam a nicen chrome steelie about 5lbs , since hes learning at 10 the fish got away, oh well atleast he got to feel his first one,and a quick play. that was the only one there,so we headed down to the ranger,by the way it was kinda nice to see himm hook a fish right out from under my feet {little bugger}. so fourth cast in on the ranger floatb goes down steelie on ,had a good glimpse of it it had that bronze tint to it,played it for a few minutes then i lost it.threw on a worm bam, second steelie on it was big, like i said was another few minute fight and a quick head turn yet another lost fish. the rains started coming down, the water was rising and the clarity went to about three feet. it started to get cold again so we headed out, around 5oclock. so all in all a pretty good afternoon fish three hooked none brought to the beach. i saw one other fish hooked, but it got off also.
