it's always great to hear and talk about hockey. cloutier is no better than curt ridley, gary smith  or cesar maniago.  :)

or frank caprice, richard brodeur and the not so  legendary glen hanlon. and of course troy gamble, steve heinz, kevin weeks, sean burke, kirk maclean and other former canuck goalies. if any trade is to made it should have been jovonovski and cloutier for roberto luongo in goal. this guys money in the bank. he's a top 4 goalie in the league. cloutier is not!!!

Actually before Cooke signed there was a rumor floating around that that Canucks were going to trade, Cloutier, Jovanoski, and Cooke for Luongo, Bouwmeester and Huselius.

wow, that's quite the rumour. the other brutal rumour was the luongo for theodore one, which would never happen. i don't know if mike keenan would ever let luongo go in a package to get someone like cloutier in return. you'd want to get another big-time goalie in return and there are not very many around.

The Rumor reguarding Theordore was that he and Ryder were going to be traded for Luongo
