regardless of who is doing this, it is happening.  I think I can speak for all of us that we don't want to see more water closed.  Personally, I can tell you that I have purchased a license in BC, 10 times and too many times to count in the US and have never had a vender tell me about the proper way to fish.  I know it is not their responsibility to do so, but it might be in their best interest.

Paid the Limits Hole a visit today and no one at work there but signs of recent activity.
It sounds like it will be closed for good which may be a good thing as it is a staging place for fish to move into the hatchery and most people are just snagging there anyway. Some proper signs are being built right now I hear.

The Cement Slabs is the battle ground now in this area and I saw a number of fish on, all foul hooked in the 15 minutes I was there cleaning up some garbage and tins.

Good to hear undercover officers working many different areas now.

This post may get deleted but i have to say there is a large quotient of a certain European background that is common to this practice and they really dont care what you say to them about ethics , it is the truth that there seems to be more of this one group into this fishing way(scale bar commoners) and im not being racist or typecasting but if there is to be change,  you have to identify this problem and educate in appropiate languages

I am European and I agree with you.
Some are probably doing it because of ignorance but most are well aware of the rules.
With many of them it's not a matter of education, they know exactly what they are doing.
It's all in the punishment, I think.

Bingo! An anti snagging disclaimer should be presented to each person buying their licence, in whatever language necessary...

This way every person will know when they are caught snagging, they will pay a huge fine and lose their vehicle.

The funds generated could quickly pay for the clay slide stabilization...
