i will most be there with a friend. I can probably score a pair of canuck tickets for that evening from a client of mine to donate. The play the Habs. 7pm start should work. Catch a steelly, win a prize and watch a game.

One more thing I forgot to mention, XGolfman had suggested that we set up a fly-fishing only section for this derby.... I think we will go ahead with this idea, I will figure some things out and post soon about how this will work.... XGolf you wanted this you have to help me set it up :)

You got it curly....I'll help and donate to that prize...it will be good too...
All you really have to do is what you've done...There will be a fly award too now!! I'll talk to a few people and get some movement on it...

For us handicapped fisherman...I would like to know if it would be OK if a verified C & R would be allowed as well? Would require another member be on hand to see it and you'd have to have a measuring tape and pictures for it to be allowed..Just a thought as some don't like to wack the little bassturds and I don't foresee a glut of fish caught this way..
Any comments or suggestions from the swing community?

I like the idea of some flyfishing prizes in the mix, having something flyfishers want to win means more entries, and more money raised for the cause...

That being said, it will be a freaking miracle if a flyrod catches a steel on that day anyway ;)

Er wait, they just floss anyway, so realistically, flyfishers should catch the bulk of the fish...  ;D  Just kidding!

Women should be treated like one of the guys... A junior prize for under 16 would be nice!

Dammit! My first year steel head fishing!! I would of loved to attend and help out with this derby!!! I leave overseas on the date of this derby!! until april 2nd!! dammmmmmit!!!! would of been fun~!  well have a good one guys and goodluck to ya!
