Fishing story writing contest for youth under the age of 16

Time to spice things up! This contest is for anyone who is under the age of 16.

Between 250 and 500 words, please write a story about your most memorable fishing trip to this day. Please proofread your work before sending it in. I don't expect perfection, but I expect effort. :) Email it to info@fishingwithrod.com by November 30th. Photos optional. The stories will be judged by a panel of selected readers. :) Please include your name and age when you send it in.

What's a contest without a prize. :)



This prize may grow by the way... It's a mixture of steelhead terminal tackle. Drennan floats, some of the spoons and blades that I've made, #2 hooks, plastic eggs in assorted colours, etc.

Come on cohokid, coho cody, fishkind, birdman, youngin, ryan, *Lil Fisherman*, canoeboy... ;)

You don't have to be a FWR member to enter this.

Only one prize? Only one winner? :P. At least have three. Makes it more appealing. Three winners instead of one.  ;D Just a suggestion though.

pin head, leave the candies to the little kiddies. ;D You are WAY over the age limit, this is for those who are under the age of 16, not including 16, so you have to be 15 or under. :)

Next year we will see some contests for big kiddies.
