how do you fish for sole and flounder?  what technique?

Best to look for a muddy botton/ sandy bottom without rocks. Depending on tide and currents a 1 ounce weight will do but if fishing in heavier current you might need to up the weight.

Bait can vary from mussels, deli shrimp and even flies tied to mimic small fish.
Rigs like a T bar rig work well to keep your bait off the botton, a sliding weight (Carolina rig) works well but crabs have a tendency to grab your bait if you keep it in one spot to long, and a 3 way swivel works well as well.
